Greeting! My name is Candice Britton. I was born on March 31, 1958. I am 54 years of age.

FULL DISCLOSURE:

My income is Social Security Disability (neuromuscular) and I am on Medicare and Medicaid for health insurance. To help me with my rent for my apartment, I have a Section 8 Housing Voucher. Also, I have a small supply of food stamps to help pay for my food.

I deeply love our Country, as I know you do! I want to return our Government to its rightful owners - "you". It is time to retire my “opponents”. Both will be in charge of a Congressional District for 6 to 12 years by time we vote in the August 2012 Primary. My opponent’s votes have contributed to degrading our lives to the point of possibly leading us to the second "Great Depression". For the first time in American history we have lost our AAA rating! My opponent’s votes do count. VOTES MATTER! They dictate our future! This time, choose change and I’ll make it count!

I believe that I cannot ethically ask anyone to do something that I am not able to do myself. That made my decision clear: I am running for the U.S. House of Representatives CD1 Missouri in the Democratic 2012 Primary. I am motivated to forge ahead and tackle the work inherent in YOUR DECISION for me to represent your needs.

Missouri is called the "SHOW-ME STATE”: Let us show the rest of the country how to manage our choices effectively. Let’s send a leader who will vote the voice of the people of CD1, Missouri! Hire me to be "Your Voice" on August 7, 2012.
